GeoServers in GeoSpatial Network

The Geoserver Network is conformed by map servers in host institutions, who provide the hardware, software and connectivity to participate in the Network.  For Mesoamerica and the Caribbean, ArcIMS software has been donated to most of the participating institutions by ESRI (www.esri.com), under arrangements made by the EROS Data Center.  The CCAD has facilitated the participation of the Ministries of the Environment in each country. Regular meetings with the CCAD Technical Committee for the Mesoamerican Environmental Information System (CT-SIAM) have been essential to establish Geoservers in the region.  The participating institutions provide national geospatial data and metadata that appears in their Geoserver.
